This was my first time making the tuxedo strawberries, and they turned out just lovely. Next time I think I would prefer to add coconut to the bride strawberries, instead of just white chocolate.

Here are the desserts on my sister in laws shabby buffet in her breakfast room. My sister in law had the loveliest spread on her dining room table and I should of photographed it! She had a yummy brie that had been soaked in brandy, pecans and brown sugar courtesy of Food Network and Paula Deen's recipe. She had some jumbo shrimp, chicken fingers, a cheese ball, fresh veggies, fresh berries, melon balls, multiple crackers and breads, and to drink she served a choice of beverage- sangria, lemonade, or iced tea. Yummy!
The strawberries were a hit, and several guests asked me how to make them. I learned at my baby shower that the showier desserts aren't eaten, its the small finger foods.
I made a tiramisu for my baby shower (since its a favorite of mine) and it was hardly touched, but the lemon bars were ate by every guest, so I knew what to make for Jens shower!
Jen is going to make a lovely bride. Shes such a sweet girl, and her moms wonderful.
I took a couple pictures of Lavinas blue and white themed bath to show later this week. Hope everyones having a nice weekend.

Your strawberries are beautiful!
Such an elegant presentation.
Well, I for one, would have made a bee-line for the tiramisu. Its my favorite.
But, I know what you mean...people like the easy-to-eat mini finger foods.

Hi Lizzie! I'm so glad you found my blog. It's been a long time since we've been in touch! I am the 'Janice' you know, though I live in Oregon (not Texas), remember? :o) I look forward to reading your blog!
Blessings,
Janice
Those look wonderful. I never have gotten the courage to try making them. How do you put the little ties on?????
Oh, boy do both those desserts look delicious! I think I'd make two more batches just for myself. :<) You did such a nice job.
What a beautiful presentation for the bridal shower. Your strawberries are picture-perfect, and look delicious, too! I'm sure that everyone had a wonderful time.
I wish that you could go to the garage sales with me! We would have such a fun time!

How adorable are those bride and groom strawberries! Great job! It looked so lovely seeing them in the glass dish on the side board. I will look forward to seeing the other photos.
How are you feeling? Is all okay still after your fall?
