Lucas had decided that tantrums are not a successful means of negotiation at this juncture, however, he reserves the right to revisit the topic at a later shopping date.
Meanwhile in continuance of the toddler humor regarding all things boogers, butts, and poopies, the other evening I told Tilly she needed to eat her broccoli and here was her reply "Feed it to my butt!". She thought this was very funny.
Here are a few pictures of the kids at a playdate we went to a couple weeks back.
Here is Ewan in the foreground.

Rowan enjoying a cupcake.

Lucas and Tilly running through the sprinkler.

All four and me on the playset.

Looks like you all had fun. I love summer! Shopping trips are always fun. We've decided to boycott restaurants altogether until the girls reach 3 years old. They never eat their food and just want to run around. I could handle it, but feel sorry for the other patrons there:)
Your posts always make me smile. The children are all growing so fast and as cute as they are, they still get cuter all the time. I love to hear about the things they say. How do children come up with the things they do?!! I love it!
Temper tantrums. . .I can even remember those and my daughter is 40!
Your yard looks like the perfect place for them to have great fun.
Lizzie, can you ever remember days when you were sitting quietly along with your kitty enjoying the pages of a book? One day these too will be a memory as you tell your children how you made it through their tantrom days and that they will get through them too! Your children are so cute! I love hearing all about them. Boy you sure are keeping thin. Must be the activity. I should do some child sitting! Hugs...
